conservatory

The Conservatory Training Program is designed for dedicated dancers ages 9-19. The program provides opportunities for further artistic development through focused training that promotes individual growth and achievement.

Dancers must meet minimum class requirements in addition to attending mandatory Tuesday Conservatory class and rehearsal to be considered. The class requirements are to provide consistency in training so that students can receive the greatest benefit of Prima training.

Artistic development is a key component of the Conservatory Program.  Dancers will strive for excellence by mastering both classical and contemporary repertoire.  Students will be featured in PCC's two major productions with possibilities for additional performance experiences.

The Conservatory program is for dancers who want to pursue the most rigorous training that Prima has to offer. By signing up for the full Prima Conservatory programming, dancers are committing to consistent training with the same group of students to build a strong community and progress with intentional goals. The Conservatory refines dancers to prepare them for professional life or college programs. We encourage all students to participate to enrich their lives with dance education and exposure to the arts!
